Lighten the Lude!

After Tom ended up straining his manly biceps lifting up the hood, we decided we needed to explore getting a carbon or FRP hood/bonnet. Which I did - again courtesy of Yahoo Auctions. Nice thing is, it's even the exact same color as our car!

Price-wise, less than half of buying a new piece (which would have to be painted).

More importantly - it's vented, which should help keep temperatures nice and cool (both oil and coolant) throughout the race. Although we ARE ordering a racing radiator, and are thinking about eventually getting an oil cooler as well.
